...I just saw my very first Christmas commercial of the year! LOL Talk about getting a head start on the season! This has got to be the earliest a Christmas ad has been run yet. What's next, putting up a tree the day after Halloween?

In Sunday's fliers, there were ads for Christmas decorations. It's crazy.

I started my Christmas shopping last week.
I agree though, it is a little crazy to have Christmas stuff out so early. |

Jeez, October was too early for Christmas commercials, but, airing them in August is ridiculous. I miss the days when we didn't see them until after Thanksgiving or at least around Thanksgiving.

anything christmas before thanksgiving is ridiculous, IMO. the christmas season starts after thanksgiving...thats when the SPIRIT starts. putting tons of christmas stuff out before it ruins the feel of the christmas season (for me, anyway).

I walked into CVS the other day and was bombarded by Christmas decorations. I almost got sick in the aisle.

I think the new thing now is THE DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN...it used to the last two weeks of November that I would see stuff for Christmas. Today, went to three different stores and there was all this Christmas stuff on display.

I really wish they wouldn't overkill Christmas all the time. I think the perfect time to start putting up the decorations and selling the Christmas stuff would be late November. Every year it gets bumped up earlier and earlier, and most people tend to forget all about Thanksgiving.
