Well, I'm kinda shy like that too. You might could write him a letter and apologize for not shaking his hand and just explain she you are shy and tell him you hope to talk to him soon or whatever...
Just a though

Good luck and I hope it all goes well!

I think you should write a letter and tell him how you feel about him. Thats what I did when I liked someone once and it worked out great.

I hate to see people get all worried over stuff like this. Listen JoeRox - I dunno what age you are (you're still at high school so I guess you won't be any older than 17) but you shouldn't get all obsessed over one guy. When you're at school there's always more than one guy you meet who you get all gooey over and when the next guy comes along you'll forget all about this one. Although I have been in a similar situation so I do kinda know how you feel over that whole 'not shaking his hand' thing.
This is just my own personal opinion and you don't have to pay any attention to it if you don't wish to. I see that everyone is telling you to write a letter to this boy to apologise for not shaking his hand. If it'll make you feel better I think you should apologise to him - but in person . Don't write a letter!!!! I've seen this before. I'm remembering one particular situation that happened when I was in 6th year in high school and this girl in one of my classes really liked this guy and she had something really important to tell him so she wrote him a letter. When he got the letter he read it out to everyone in the class and then pinned it up on the message board in our common-room for everyone in our year to read. Needless to say she was really, really upset. If she'd just told him what she wanted to say in person than none of that stuff would ever have happened.
I know you say you're shy and everything but I really think it would be wiser to apologise to this guy in person - that way he won't have anything to laugh at with his friends. Guys can be total *******s sometimes.
Like I said, this is just my opinion - you should do whatever you feel is best. Although, if I were in this guy's position, I know I'd appreciate you talking to me in person more than just getting a letter from you.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Courtney...Stand back and see the humor in your little goof-up of having not shaken his hand. There's no need for you to feel humiliated about it. If you're able to do that, you might go on to conquer your shyness and talk to him, ready to have a laugh at yourself. Think of it as an ice breaker and use it to your benefit. That's what it is, and if you can do that you'll put both you and him at ease and you'll have a good talk.

I dont have any advice. But you should look up my friend Edna Garrett. She lives in Africa but tonight she will be in Peekskill, New York so call the operator and say you want the number for Eastland School in Peekskill New York and you should be able to get a hold of her.

Thumbs up

That's a good one Strudelbone. I'm a fan of deadpan humor. I've noticed that some of our fellow board members are a little slow on the uptake. Took me a minute to catch up to what you were saying. Finally I noticed, "Oh, right, Eastland."
