ok, now i see that the first season of SNL is due soon so i think there is no reason why FRIDAYS can't be done. and with such as cast as michael richards and larry david leading the way, many people should be interested in it.
if the SNL crowd can get rights to the musical acts performances, then these guys should be able to as well. |

I wouldn't count on seeing Fridays - it was an SNL wannabe that lasted a little over two years. Yes, they could use Michael Richards and Larry David as a selling point, but I don't think it would translate into big sales.
It would probably be fun to watch, as Richards got his start here, creating that manic persona that would evolve later into Kramer on Seinfeld. Besides, I'd like to see if any of the humor holds up today. To be truthful, I'm surprised we're even getting SNL's first season - I heard that the music rights clearance issue had been holding it back. |

to each his own, but i personally think that FRIDAY'S was a good funny show, where SNL has been nothing but stupid from the start, with very little comedy to it.
