St. Louis, according to the FBI
Source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061030/...ity_crime_list Quote:
My city, San Francisco, ranks at #270 out of 371 US cities listed, so that means it's more dangerous than it is safe. I'm surprised to see that it didn't rank that low though. |

Wow... I never would have guessed St. Louis as the most dangerous city in the country...

Springfield, MA- 30th most dangerous city in the U.S... no surprise there. I guess it's better than being 16th a few years ago.

I'm surprised Minneapolis isn't lower on that list. For a while this year, hearing about a homicide was usually a weekly thing in the news, if not twice a week.

Fargo is #47 on the safest cities list. And lol at Billings, MT being #92 on the same list - it's a pretty damn boring city. Of course nobody wants to do crime there because it's such a lame place to live. NYC is #145 on that list... Safer than dangerous. Yay

It's funny how Detroit and Flint are listed as two of the most dangerous cities in the country, yet a huge chunk of the suburbs inbetween the two are scattered all over the top of the safest list. Big dropoff when you leave the cities.
