This is super-cool...
Okay, so I was browsing through the YouTube website, right. I go there occasionally to see if there are any new Vicki Lawrence video clips. This isn't Mama's Family-related, but it has Vicki & Carol in this clip...so it IS related. lol
Anyway, it's a piece of rare footage from when The Carol Burnett Show had just debuted as a new show, back in 1967. For these not in the know, TCBS ran from 1967 to 1978, and it was on that show, they gave birth to Mama.  But I know you guys know that already. Anyway.Check out the dresses the gals are wearing... Very stylish for that time period in the 1960s! And look at how young Vicki was, she was only 18 years old and fresh out of high school at that time. The whole time TCBS was on the air, it was in color -- but whoever owns this episode has it in black & white only. Pretty cool, lol.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYjSx8rtmUs |
