Default Danny Rolling has been executed

In case you guys didn't know he was executed a few days ago. I remember seeing his story on a true crime show although I don't remember which one. It also seems like there was a talk show several years ago that interviewed this woman who said she was in love with him. He did kill 5 women in the Gainesville, FL area but apparently also confessed to some murders in Louisiana as well shortly before his execution:

I recall a segment about Rolling in one or two episodes of Justice Files. It was a true-crime documentary that aired on the Discovery Channel during the 1990s. The JF segments are actually archives from ABC, originally shown on various ABC news programs (including Primetime Live and 20/20).

Yes it appears Rolling murdered at least 8 people. I believe he killed 5 people in Florida and 3 in Louisiana. I think Rolling was a suspect in other murders as well although they could never for sure link him to them. I think he was looked at murders that occurred in Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia as well. I remember seeing a special on him where he claimed he had multiple personalities and stuff. Was a rather strange guy but I think he was probably full of crap about the multiple personalities unless prison made him so crazy he thought he had them.

I guess him preparing to meet his maker had something to do with it. Which I find very senseless because he died a painless death. He didn't go through the torture he put his victims through.

Rolling confessed to killing eight people, including the five Gainesville murders. Even though he is now dead, I wouldn't be surprised if new evidence against him in other murders cases came to light. More often than not, the number of murders committed by serial killers outnumber the murder convictions they eventually receive.

Would it make more sense to let him live and suck taxpayers dollars and leave the victims families wondering why this tool is allowed to live?

The whole suffering in prison for the rest of your life angle is ridiculous.

On the other hand if they let self proclaimed multple murderers be subjected to be brutally beaten to death I'd have no problem with that.

I doubt any victims mom, dad, brother, sister, husband, or wife would either.

Actually I think your average relative would have a huge problem with a multiple murderer being beaten to death. I am just amazed at how hateful and spiteful people can be. I mean personally I have been against the death penalty for a while now for various reasons and this latest botched execution in Florida is just another example of why I think it should be abolished. I mean I guess I find that interesting how people seek revenge for a murder by insisting the killer get executed. I think that is hypocritical but that is just my opinion. I mean I do think the argument that someone would suffer more being kept in prison for life than being executed is a good argument not a bad one. By the way when you complain about prisoners sucking taxpayer dollars you do realize that states that have the DP spend way more dollars on operating and maintaining a death row than those who do not right? I see you are from New Jersey, well you guys have had the DP back since I believe 1976 or 1977 and you have not conducted a single execution and in fact your state supreme court actually reverses a lot of the death sentences. You have had a moratorium on this for a while now and I do think your state will probably end up getting rid of it.
