Adele, I do not know what the highest score you can acheive on an IQ test is, but based on the standardized tests of IQ used in the past (which this test is not one of), IQ is generally believed to be distrubuted on a bell-shaped curve, with a mean score of 100 and a standard deviation of 16.

That means that 100 is the average IQ. Too bad I can't draw a picture, but if you know anything about normal (i.e. "bell") curves, 68% of the population is within 1 standard deviation of the mean. This means that 68% of people have an IQ score between 84 and 116. As for the higher numbers, 16% of the population has an IQ score higher than 116, and only 2% has a score higher than 132. This also means that approximately 3% of the population is considered to be mentally ******** (the criteria for that is an IQ score below 70.)

Now, keep in mind that all this is based on the most-widely used and accepted tests used for measuring IQ. It does not mean that it is right and that this online test is necessarily wrong, but it seems to me that we all are getting rather unusually high scores. We must be the message board where all the smart people hang out, lol.

At any rate, while this test is a rather nice boost to everyones ego, I seriously question the validity of it, especially if ~hosebabe87~ can get such a high score by speeding through and blindly guessing! But then, I question the validity of nearly all IQ tests.
