well my father bet me $500 i couldn't find the sitcom where the phrase "diamonds, rubies, nylons, and chocolate bars" came from. i tried searching the phrase itself, plus split it up, nothing comes to mind. if you have any idea please let me know through email preferrably thank you.

Actually what I was thinking was in "New Neighbor Sam" Sam reacts to the word Diamond and Mr Howell says other things to get his attention.

Remember when Mr. and Mrs. Howell separate and so Mr. Howell and Ginger have dinner together while Mrs. Howell and the professor are having dinner together, the two men try to say things to make the other jealous, the professor says the scientific word for asprin, while Mr. Howell says, "Ginger, I will buy you diamonds, rubies, nylons and chocolate bars."
