....that TIME-LIFE will also be relasing seasons 2 through 5 of THE ODD COUPLE on DVD-bad news!! I e-mailed them and asked; and they said that; unfortunately; they don't have the rights and don't have permission for the rest of the series.

Thats weird but they released Season 1? Thats weird.

That's not necessarily bad news. It could be the same as What's Happening, which had its first season available exclusively through TimeLife before the eventual Sony retail releases. It's rare that TimeLife owns all rights to every title they release anyway.
