I saw the trailer yesterday for the film based on the Jesse James Hollywood story. Everything looks exactly the same except for every name is changed and the titles at the end say that he was found in Paraguay (as opposed to Brazil). The cast looks interesting (justin timberlake among others) and Emile Hirsh playing the lead (though he doesn't look as much like a thug). Should be interesting to see if it's the exact story with changed names.

it stays true to the real story. lots of research went into it. it's not all the same of course but most of it. they changed the names and the city and you know that obvious stuff, the scene where the kidnapped kid has sex with the two girls didn't happen but overall it's accurate.

^ I don't know if it was with two girls but it has been widely reported that Nick Markowitz lost his virginity during the time he was held "captive".

^^ Also, eyewitnesses apparently saw nick louging by the pool with, among others, young women while held captive. So I think yes, he definately maybe could've lost his virginity at that time. I'm just guessing based on pure speculation, tho.

Just a thought.....

widely reported? it didn't say that anywhere

nah he didn't sleep with anyone but they did have a big pool party at a motel, I believe named the Lemon Tree Inn, right before the fateful night.
