then sit right back my cousin and feast yer eyes on thsi one

it was an epic journey to get them all

and epic project to have them redone with joker class menus

and its an epic , and classic tv show

if charlie heston can have the 10 commandments as an epic

then this is a mega epic, since charlie only took 3 hours to get the 15, dammit i dropped them, 10 commandments

and this is 271 hours

for those who dont understand the principal, ill explain the concept

of course not all tv dvds are equal

if they were all equal, then

then ill make a nice list of what i want and ill send retail crap that i bought at best buy last night

or even worse, some tired old set of the smurfs, thats been around for ever and everyone who wants it, has it

most people that have these better sets, dont even list them on their trade

some folks, have them listed on their trade list, and then for some reason, note-- this set isnt for trade

i approach the issue from a unique angle, i make the best of the best avaible to anyone, but i need to get an item of equal rarity, value, how ever you choose to phrase it, in return

i have aprox 1 % of my entire holdings on my premium list

heres an example of why i add an item to the premium list

dr kildare

i have the same eps on 85 discs

aprox 170 total eps

and its on my normal list

but then, i had them redone, at great expense, onto 33 discs, with nice menus, and in original order

the 33 disc run goes on the premium list

why would anyone ever redo a set, put all that work into it,and then reduce the trade value, by over 70%

down from 85 disc to end up at 33

im surely not going to go through all that work, and expense to end up with far less

so thats why i see the premium list items as having much more value

why is this premium list a topic for debate

well some people who dont have any prime sets, or dont go through the work and expense of redoing a huge set into a better and smaller set, want to run their pie hole about it, and cry the blues

since they want the prime stuff while wanting to offer up their lame and tired stuff

the moral of the story is, do some work, go find some good stuff,

like in real life, those who sit and whine, dont get much, thsoe who hustle and do the leg work, come out pretty well

He has it, you don't, it's premium.

Just got in 70 eps of Wild Bill Hickcock, 20 eps of Dick Powell theater, 75 shows from Wonderful World of Disney, 20 eps of Men from Shiloh but I know not to say anything because my stuff will never be premium. 19 dvds of the Jack Benny show etc. but someday I'm hoping to get something premium, till then I will accept whatever tidbits come my way.

Anyone want to send me a tidbit?

Harvey

Hey Harvey

What period are those "75 shows from Wonderful World of Disney"? Are these from the 1950's - 70's period?
I'd like to get some old Wonderful World Of Disney

Here is a Disney episode list

Thanks, I think I get it now, only questions arise...

1. What others value a set or show to be etc.. may not be of value to the other...true? i.e. You have Dr. Kildare, I don't care for it, so it's of no value to me, yet someone else might want it, thus, it's of value to them...then are you saying you're only source to get it from?

2. If say, your Perry Mason set is already on 4 other Traders list of shows, for trade ( and/or on sale online somewhere) then that would make your Perry Mason set no longer Premium item, true? since it's already alvailable through other traders, exactly like your current set... or (2) is being sold online somewhere, thus, your set is waiting for takers, while the exact duplicate set is making their rounds already all over the country....cutting out the middle-man, you?

3. I like Wonder Woman, i do not have it. You probably do, it's crap to you, to me it's not, but I know I can get it anywhere from anyone, etc..thus it is not Premium... I get that. But if one, puts a value on a Set and gets no takers or interest, the set is moot, it's not moving and the only value the set has to anyone, would be yourself, since no one is asking for it, as it is not making the rounds on trade lists... True?

4. Thanks for your reply

5. Joker, Harvey, I like Wonderful World of Disney also...if this is the show that aired on Sunday's or weekends during the 60' 70's etc.???? that sounds very nice...Disney rules! To me, Disney is Premium, since no one has it, yet most everyone wants...

So why do you go to Lamont and Norm to get my stuff? ave your nonsense for those who are wise to your tactics.

Harvey who could care less about anything you have.? How about my Judge Roy Bean's. You also turned them down? hank God there is no drug testing to a be a member of this group because you wouldn't make it my friend.

Harvey who doesn't buy your garbage. The only thing epic is your mouth.

ill do the work to score them

Why are people greedy with their Trade lists here? If you do not want to trade something, why post it? I thought this was for sharing. Now I'm reading, "You wish you had my stuff, or I would never want your stuff, etc.." " You can't ever get my stuff... my stuff is better than your stuff...are they all the same sets?

Why are people greeedy with their stuff here? Like possessive or someting.
