I need Halloween costume ideas... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hey everyone....I need help coming up with an interesting/creative Halloween costume! (No, I'm not going trick or treating, but I am going to a huge street party at a University, so I hafta have a costume)

Me and my friends usually have a little informal contest to see who has the best costume, but this year I am running low on ideas. It doesn't help that I have a limited budget (I can't spend more than $20 and would prefer to spend much less than that!)

Past years I have been a baseball player (snooze), Marvin the Martian, and a dead mime, so don't suggest those, lol.

Feel free to suggest anything. If I don't have something in my wardrobe, maybe I can get it cheap at a thrift store. Only other concern other than cost is that it will probably be cold out, so I can't have anything too skimpy. Also, please refrain from suggesting anything run-of the mill, like a witch, or a ghost....I am looking for interesting, creative ideas. It doesn't necessarily have to be gory or scary, it can be funny, sick, twisted, dirty (trust me all my friends have warped dirty minds so you won't offend me), etc...

I promise to give it more thought today. In the meantime, since you have less than 20 bucks to spend, you might want to get a jump on things. Put on bag lady attire--don't give me any politically correct jargon about that term please--and wear a sign that says. "Will work for a halloween costume.'

Another idea, not very inventive but quite cheap, would be "Lady Godiva" without the horse of course. All you would need is a very long wig. Bootsy Godiva has a nice ring to it.

Jo: I'm gonna roll it through their front door and then POW! boy POW! Dead Kawasaki's all over the street!
Mrs G: I take it you didn't get the job. May I have those matches?Please!
Jo: That's right, I DID NOT GET THE JOB! DID ANYBODY MISS THAT? I-DID NOT-GET-THE-JOB! Go ahead Blair, hit me with your best shot, go ahead!

Nat: Oh Blair, you can do better then that!

i need help too. im goin a group of six...3 of my friends r bein josie and the pussycats and me and my 2 other friends wanna be sumthin with 3 people too. any ideas? we thought of charlie's angels...but how would that work?

Charlie's Angels would be pretty easy...just raid your mom's closet or go to a thrift store and find 70s looking clothes. Biggest problem as I see it would be your hair, and also, people might not know who you are unless you tell them, and that's never any fun.

hmmmm...a group of three....we should be able to come up with something. Does it have to be 3 girls, or can it be either sex?

I'm still trying to expand my mind about the costume, but it seems that Bootsy Godiva keeps clogging my train of thought. She's not easy to out do.

Hmm, You once said you thought you knew where I went to school at. Could it be that you are a mere 40 minutes down the road from me? I was a baseball player because it was the first year I ever went, and I delayed getting a costume, and I could make a baseball player from clothes I already had. I just wore black sweatpants, and White Sox jersey, White Sox hat, and a glove, which was very easy and cost nothing, but was also very boring. Well either I am a mere 40 minutes away, for we are neighbors and don't know it. But I would say that we are certainly in the same state.

I don't, however, go to said University with said reputation. Ya though I must travel through the valley of boredom and the forest of sleepiness to get there.
