I agree, it was just as sappy as JJ out of town for an art convention.

Oh, all of a sudden he could be out of town for a few days to make money...but when the man wanted to get a damn good job in Alaska, Florida reminded him that the most time he spent away from her was 24 hours, and that was TORTURE TO HER. This few days out of town jazz was not torture to her?????

Per Diem
$60.00 for lodging and $39.00 for meals and incidental expenses October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007

If he was out of town for work, then most likely it was some off job not related to his car wash work. He may have found something temporary where several men were needed to do a job. In that case, the job may have paid for his lodging and/or meals. It's not unusual for that. When my boyfriend had construction jobs out of town or out of state, his lodging was paid for, sometimes his meals as well.

I still wanna know why Florida didn't have a fit over him being gone MORE THAN 24 HOURS!?

There was No Company-lol Since they wrote in that weak excuse about him working out of town, they should have had him mention something about it when he returned to the show
