Go to www.tvshowsondvd.com and register there. It's free and none of your personal details will be compromised. Once you've registered, vote for the show to be released on DVD. Studios, particularly Warner Brothers, looks at this site to see what they should release next, so it's not a waste of time.

Please do this so that we'll get the show finally...

Isn't it currently on ABC Family? Can't you watch it there or have someone tape it for you if you don't get the channel?

The Hogan Family has been off of ABC Family for 2 months now. Everyone should just registered at www.tvshowsondvd.com and vote for both Valerie and The Hogan Family to be released on DVD in a season set.

I really wish The Hogan Family would be released on DVD! Such a quality show and it is a shame that it has been relatively forgotten...

Remember to vote for both "Valerie" and "The Hogan Family" on DVD in a season set at: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/

"Valerie" and "The Hogan Family" are listed as two different shows even though it's really the same show, so remember to vote for both of them.

I asked Warner Home Video about Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family, and here's the response that I received during last night's chat on Home Theater Forum:

I keep thinking that the lawsuit with Valerie Harper and Lorimar Prods. (which is now Warner Bros) may have something to do with this show not being released yet on dvd. Maybe WB feels so burned from the old lawsuit they don't wish to get into any rights fees/profits to Valerie Harper. I'm sure this means something to them and to her. Whatever happens she is probably owed something or at the least the episodes she was in. From what I understand she was was somewhat involved with the shows inception and her production comp. was involved. Thats my opinion though.
If it ever comes on dvd, I think it only makes sense that they release her episodes as one 2 season set. Many other mid season sitcoms have started out their first dvd sets like this.

If there are not any issues with Valerie, I'm surprised they didn't want to have releases during Arrested Development's days. I'm sure a number of fans would have liked seeing Jason Bateman when he was younger.
