I did some Sports Research on the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears after hearing these statements about the teams in season 2 and 3 episodes and I have to say the statements were accurate.

J.J-When are we going to get a Black QB?

Drunk in the Bar-"What has Two eyes, No arms, and no legs? every QB the Bears ever had

James-I have to wear my lucky Sweater because when I do the Bulls only lose by 20 points"

When J.J made his statement in 1974, the Chicago Bears were a awful 4-10 Team

When the drunk made his statement in 1975, the Chicago Bears were also a 4-10 Team

When James made his Statement in 1975, the Bulls finish that season 24-58

So It just wasn't in the TV world, the City of Chicago had bad sports Teams in the mid 70's. I just had to confirm this-lol
