I really, really, really miss Mr. T and Tina. It was one of those short-lived tv shows in the 1970's that did not make it. I wish I could see it on dvd! Any ideas? Has anyone else hear of this show besides me?

You miss it? The show didn't even last a half Season-lol It was cancelled before the second season

You must have a POWERFUL memory because that show was last seen on the air 30 years ago.

Well, actually, I had forgotten most of it, but I remember June on it and that I liked it very much as a kid and that's why I want to see all of them again, to remember!

The show did a crossver episode with Welcome Back Kotter I guess to draw an audience but it didn't help much. I don't think you wll ever see this show again since it aired during a time when lots of people didn't VCR's in their house and the fact that it had not enough eps to make it to syndication

Technically The WBK episode was the pilot for Mr T, but it aired only one day before Mr T and Tina aired it's show. It was the season opener of Kotter. "Tina" isn't in it, just "Mr T".

VCRs were brand new at that point and they were big clunky machines that were very expensive. It would be years before VCRs became commonplace in homes. I never even saw one until around 1979.

The show got yanked off the air after 5 weeks so you couldn't have gotten too attached to it.
