Default Soundtrack to The Honeymooners

If you had to put together a soundtrack for the show, which songs would you include? Here's a few obvious ones to start off:

"You're My Greatest Love"
"The Hucklebuck"
"Swanee River" by Stephen Foster
"My Love Song To You" by Bob Manning

Let's try and stick to the Classic 39 & Lost Episodes because a soundtrack for the Color Episodes could go on forever.

I Had a Dream Dear
The Mambo music Carlos played when teaching the women to dance
The ragtime music that Ralph and Alice danced to at the costume ball

Which was a Dixieland jazz arrangement of "Marilyn" - the same song that played on both the movie Ralph was watching late at night in the "TV Or Not TV" episode, and at the restaurant where Ralph and Alice were dining with Bill Davis and his wife Millie in "A Man's Pride"; in both cases, as from Gleason's Music to Remember Her LP (Capitol W-570), sped-up on the former and played at normal speed on the latter.

I'd also include the music heard in the "Charlie Chan" movie Norton was watching; it was also featured in one scene of Ed Wood's most famous epic, Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Hmmmm, I wonder why this song would have 2 different titles? On JG's album "Opiate d'Amour", that very song is titled as "Pink Lace". Interesting! At any rate a rousing rendition of it was danced to by the June Taylor dancers in May 1964, when they opened the "American Scene Magazine" show that celebrated Gleason's 15th anniversary in the music business.

I just recently found a 45 rpm of this song on-line. Quality is pretty good too! I had been looking for it for quite some time.

As Gleason was credited as co-writer (with Carolyn Leigh and Moose Charlap), the original title may've had to do with his then-flame (and later third wife), whereas at the time of re-recording for Opiate d'Amour (which also featured the second, totally different version of "Melancholy Serenade" from that on Capitol single #(F)2361), he was in the middle of his 13-year relationship with Honey Merrill . . . though I admit this is mere speculation on my part . . . the later, re-titled version's composition was credited solely to Gleason . . .

In terms of shows, how much of a last show was that May 1964 installment in terms of being based in New York, before his move to Florida?

The music anniversary show aired on May 2, 1964. I am taking a guess by saying that maybe 3 or 4 "new" shows would be aired beyond this one before vacating Studio 50.

It seems like a lot of songs that were featured on The Honeymooners are hard to find these days. Like "The Hucklebuck" for example, did anyone ever figure out who sung the version from "Young At Heart"? And what about that song Ralph & Norton sing in "Head Of The House"? I forgot what the name of it was...

I thought we should get tis thread goin again, becuse it already has some info that might help The Great One.
"It's Honeymooners Time" is an awsome LP. My fav song on it is VAVAVAVOOM. I need to figure out how to burn it to cd. I was able to get a partial scan of it. I would like to see "Tenderly" on a new disc because it's the music played for the Poor Soul. Some of the other song on this post would also be nice, like My Love Song to YOu, Claves For Mambo by Tito Rodriguez, & of course Th Hucklebuck by Kay Star. I did find the lyrics for this song if anyone is interested, as well as a different version on mp3. There deffinately should be a new cd released. I will be first on line.
