Cool

I don't know about scarry songs, but my favorite Halloween song is Purple People Eater

Well I saw the thing comin' out of the sky
It had the one long horn, one big eye.
I commenced to shakin' and I said "ooh-eee"
It looks like a purple people eater to me.

It was a one-eyed, one-horned, flyin' purple people eater.
(one-eyed, one-horned, flyin' purple people eater)
A one-eyed one-horned,flyin' puple people eater
Sure looks strange to me. (one eye?)

Well he came down to earth and lit in a tree
I said Mr. Purple People Eater don't eat me
I heard him say in a voice so gruff
I wouldn't eat you 'cos you're so tough

It was a one-eyed, one-horned flyin' purple people eater
one-eyed, one-horned flyin' purple people eater
one-eyed, one-horned flyin' purple people eater
Sure looks strange to me. (one horn?)

I said Mr. Purple People Eater, what's your line
He said it's eatin' purple people and it sure is fine
But that's not the reason that I came to land
I wanna get a job in a rock and roll band

Well bless my soul, rock and roll, flying purple
people eater.
Pidgeon-toed, undergrowed, flyin' purple people eater
(we wear short shorts) Flyin' purple people eater
sure looks strange to me.

And then he swung from the tree and lit on the ground.
He started to rock, really rockin' around
It was a crazy little ditty with a swingin' tune
(sing awop bop aloo bop lop bam boom)

Well, bless my soul, rock and roll
flyin' purple people eater
Pigeon-toed, undergrowed, friendly purple people eater.
Flyin' little people eater
Sure looks strange to me. (puple people?)

And then he went on his way, and then what do you know.
I saw him last night on a TV show.
He was blowing it out, a'really knockin' em dead
Playin' rock and roll music through the horn in his head

(sax solo)

Tequila!

Cool

Ags, I gotta say I love that song...I just got a CD with my favorite actor singing THAT SONG on it...it's hysterical at the end when he says "tequila" because he's all proper about it...lol!

And the other songs on my CD like..."The Monster Swim" (like the mash) and "Drac the Knife" and the Jabberwocky song...

"SCREEMERS!" it's the cutest!

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]

When it comes to scary songs I tend to like music that comes with scary movies.
I like the title song - and the one the band played - on Howling II.
I like pretty much all the songs on The Lost Boys.
Then of course there is always the title music for Halloween and The Shining for giving you a cold chill up your spine.

It has to be the title song for Halloween. I got into my car one day and left my radio on and when i started my car and the radio was playing that song, i almost crapped myself. Then the host dude started talking and was like "What year is that song from?". LoL

Is it just me,or do these songs sound creepy to you?
Love Is A Stranger/The Eurythmics
Touch And Go/The Cars
The Promise/When In Rome
Blue Jay Way/The Beatles(Magical Mystery Tour LP)
It might not have been their intent, but there's something about the sound of these particular songs that give me chills.
