I recall the girls being in someone's apartment, I think Lenny and Squiggy's apartment, and they are "hooked" on some hooks on the wall by their jackets and they are trying so hard to get off the wall...

I see them both trying to "leap" off the wall...but for the life of me I can't remember which episode this is. That scene makes me

"The Robbery" is the name of this episode. Laverne's boyfriend Jake, robs a grocery store and she wants to break up with him so she and Shirley go over to his apartment. They were going to turn him into to the cops if he didn't do it himself and that's when he put them on the hooks.

Does anybody remember the name of the gang Jake was in? For the life of me I can't. I know that it had purple in the name. "The Purple..." I can't remember the rest of it.

I loved watching them try to jump off the hooks.

Yeah, I think he does unhook them. I remember that he was going to go after Jake but the girls were yelling for him to come back and get them down.
