Did anybody else find it strange that Florida brought a cake home after she was fired from her department store job? What I found weird about it, was Thelma asking her mom if she got a promotion and Florida smiled and said, "You'll see." As if it was some big surprise that was good news.

Yeah, her talking abt as if losing her job was good news. I mean, I would have expected some good news if she had said, "You'll see." The cake only would make me think something great! I can see if she brought in the cake and immediately told the family she lost her job and the reason she bought the cake was because she was given her last check and she wanted to "splurge" on the family.

Yeah another Weird Florida Evans Moment, celebrating bad news-lol You only are supposed to spend money when you know MORE MONEY is coming In. Just like when I found out I was hired back in September, I went to out to Dinner because I knew that I was getting that money back that I was putting out. I swear Florida would do and say things to make me think she was on MEDICATION-lol
