What was the most amazing moment on Cheers? Not necessarily the funniest, but a moment or scene that made you say, "Wow!" or "Oh my God!" or "I can't believe it!"
I would vote for the moment from Season 11's "It's Lonely on the Top," when Sam removes the toupee. You don't see it coming when the episode begins. As the conversation with Carla develops, you begin to get an inkling that it is headed that way, but when it happens, even with the anticipation, it is still astounding. In reruns, it is even more significant because you know that it was the last episode filmed. |

I definitely agree about Sam opening the painting. His voice is just filled with so much emotion.
The only other moment that compares for me is in Cheerio Cheers when Sam is telling Diane that even though he can't offer her the security that Frasier can, they should be together. The look on her face is just indescribable. |
