Default Is Monday always the better day to have off from Work or School than Friday?

I hate having fridays off from work because it makes it harder to get up on Monday Mornings. By having Mondays off, you return to work on a Shorter week. So who else in the I LOVE MONDAYS OFF fan Club?

Mondays and Fridays off would be fun.

I am. Having Fridays off is just weird. If I unexpectedly have a Friday off, then I feel like my whole week has been robbed.

we had last monday off for Colombus Day, and the monday before was Senior Skip Day, so tomorrow is going to be very strange because that is two short weeks in a row. I agree, that is better because on Sunday you have another day instead of on Thursday. Election Day is always a plus though because after that it is only three days and the day before you know you have the next day off.

Monday, hands down.

Friday's always been easy, be it school or work ... you always have the weekend to look forward to.

I'm a member of the "rather have Monday off" club. Our office is closed weekends, so we're always a lot busier on Monday than on any other day than the week.

I like having Mondays off more so than Fridays. I believe for most people it's because Monday is known as the usual "first day of the week", so it's always the whole negativity as the first dreaded day back to work after a weekend.

At my job I don't have the holidays off unless it lands on my scheduled day off.

It depends. If the Friday is on a day that I get paid then I love having Friday's off!! If it is an off pay week then I would much rather have Monday off.

Either way it's no fun getting up for work!!

I usually have Monday off, as I work a late night weekend shift, so I prefer it that way. It's nice having a five day weekend instead of a two day weekend. The tradeoff is great that way. The only downside is working from ten at night until six in the morning. But, I've gotten used to it. I think I would actually turn down a day shift now even if one of the schedule people offered it to me.

Having Mondays off is so much better. It makes Sundays much more pleasant.
