Default This didn't make sense in "The end of the rainbow"...

J.J. got a big cash advance and told the family he is getting his own place. He didn't think at all abt maybe taking his mother out of the projects?

Keith asked Florida to move in with him and Thelma AFTER J.J. made his remark abt moving out, so, basically Florida was remaining in the apartment as far as J.J. was concerned. Why not have J.J. say "Mom, WE are moving out." And then when Keith makes his announcement abt the house, he could have still asked Florida to move in, giving Florida the option of staying with her son or being with Thelma.

Right, it took the son in law to GET HER OUT of the Ghetto instead of her own son-lol But Florida was more ******** because after J.J said he got a big cash advance and said he is moving out, Florida says-"WHY? What the hell did she mean by WHY?-lol Why stay in the Ghetto when you don;t have to

"it took her son-in-law..." GOOD ONE SOLOMON!!!!

I know, WHY?????? C'mon lady. Then again, maybe she wanted him to settle into his new job first before moving out. Just a guess.

Also, it never fails, I always remember how Florida was obviously concerned, worried and then some when J.J. got that numbers runner gig (he lied to her abt what he was doing). When she asked J.J. abt where he was getting all this money, remember? Why didn't she react the same way when J.J. gave Thelma and Keith the honeymoon trip? Why didn't she say, "Ok J.J. where did you get the money for this trip?" She had this big ol' cheeser on her face.

I guess you have a point. He was sleeping with Michael for 20 years, I guess he was entitled some alone time.

Yeah, I guess having your own place to have sex with chicks is more important than getting your mother out of the dangerous ghetto.

One must have his priorities in order.

Mom could simply go back to Arizona and figure out where the hell Carl went!

I guess one can assume that if JJ had hit the big time that he would get mom a place of her own as well.

But I thought it was the mother's job to raise the kid and then they go out on their own!!

I guess I should call my own mother and ask her to come live with me.

Florida wound up being supported. Not much dignity in that. But beats the hell out of driving a school bus with Gary Coleman and Tootie!!

Well JJ did say that he sold his comic strip/charater to some place. So I'm guessing (Off camera) JJ told her the name of the place and where it was located.

Maybe Thelma Keith Flo and baby all had to move in with J.J.

There was no "Keith" on the 79 Chicago Bears.

I guess just like leaving your kids in the dangerous ghetto to get married and go to Arizona.

Now that was crazy, that seemed so unlike her character. To remarry is fine, but why leave your kids int he ghetto and move with your new husband to Arizona. What happened to the fact that the family came as a package?
