I as well miss "Night Court" not being on everyday. I don't get to see it all now, because I go to church during the time it's on now on Sundays. I miss the "My Time Marathons." That was the perfect time to watch it. I also wish Warner Brothers would put the rest of the years on DVD. This stinks!

I miss it too. I taped nearly all the ones that aired as much as I could, except season 1, which I have on DVD, and nearly all of season 9, since the show lost its steam by then. The "My Time Marathons" I miss as well. One time, I think, all four parts of "Her Honor" aired in a "My Time Marathon" and I was unable to tape them then. When they reaired months later, I taped only parts 1-3 of "Her Honor" because a technical difficulty prevented me from taping part 4. At least I still have my tapes and season 1 DVD.

Just last night to kick off the holidays, I watched "The Last Temptation of Mac," the Thanksgiving episode and probably the only Thanksgiving episode in the show. I'm planning to watch three of their Christmas episodes -- "Santa Goes Downtown," "Let It Snow," and "The Night Court Before Christmas" -- and wrapping it up with "New Year's Leave."

Speaking of Christmas episodes, I heard the episode "Santa on the Lam" wasn't that good. What went wrong?

"Santa on The Lam" just seemed to have strayed from it's traditional formula. Although it did have a message and Dan was the unlikely hero, it just wasn't that funny or that realistic for each character. Harry was a real jerk to a lonely girl, Christine was a grinch when it came to getting toys for Charlie and it was just boring. There was a lack of a zany edge that gave all of "Night Court's" Christmas episodes a certain charm. A guy playing a store Santa wanted to take his life in the episode. That was depressing and not funny. It was just really disappointing. I also missed something that sort of became a tradition...a Harry and Christine holiday kiss under something. I missed the craziness of defendants or crazy characters that were featured in each episode. I just think the storyline itself wasn't big enough. Christmas episodes prior, if you recall, featured blizzards, toys being lost by Bull...there was always some major crisis. It certainly lacked many fun aspects.

ido remember 1 Night court that was kind of boring i dont know about rest of u it was when Roz refused to return some christmas gifts to some orphans that was held over for evidence and she end up going to jail. and i was wondering about the episode where the late mel torme showed harry what life be like fi he never became judge hmm isnt that soppose be a xmas time episode but anyway,

there was alwyas some major crises going on at Night court i guess that made it so intresting to watch Mac Harry and Roz Dan was my all time favorites on there other 2 was ok i guess.

thanks to tv land for screwing their schedule up and airing it 1 day a week of course when everyone is sleeping or goingto church who there to watch it it not fair i tell u.

anyway im also looking foreward to the tv land xmas special but that not enough this need be on reguarley mean im tired of same ol marathons Night court deserves a marathon2 and kil them damm movies off.

I didn't mind the Christmas episode that you're talking about when Roz wouldn't disclose where she and Bull delivered the toys. I really didn't like the last one they ever did in season nine.

The episode with Mel showing Harry what "Night Court" would be like without him was not a Christmas episode. It was a regular season episode after Margaret left Harry.

With all these shows now having special full season packages for the holidays, I really wish that "Night Court" was on that list. I'm tired of seeing some of these other worthlesss one season/cancelled shows getting DVDs and "Night Court" only getting a few. Perhaps if it aired more, then it would gain a bigger following. Someone in Warner Brothers marketing department should come up with an incredible strategy to sell "Night Court" on DVD. I truly beileve that there are people out there interested, but it's all in the presentation and packaging. They'd have to create something that would make people run out to buy it. I have a few ideas. Why can't they have some?
