Actually, this year is probably the best I've had so far, even though one of my best friends is going to a different school and I never see her. I've sort of made new friends. What really sucks is half the people at my school (freshman building) will be going to a different high school next year, because my district has two high schools for grade 10-12. And most of the people I'm becoming not really CLOSE friends with, but school friends, will be going to the school that I'm not going to. Academically, everything's great! I think I have straight A's, but I have no idea what I have in English, because she never hands back our assignments or tells us what we got on them.

Even though this year's pretty good so far, I really just can't wait until next year where I'll have a chance to meet more new people since most of the people in my classes this year aren't exactly people I have a lot in common with.

Thumbs down

This grade has been horrible!!!!This is probably one of the worst grades I have ever been in next to 5th grade!!!First of all I only have one friend at my school that still understands me because I'm kind of wierd and we're only in 3 of the same classes. My other so called friend now has new "better" friends and two of the friends I had last year moved. Then there are my grades.I'm use to a's maybe 1 or 2 b's but mostly a's but this year all b's!!!!Except in English I have a C in English!!!I hardley ever get C's!!This has been a really bad day because I missed school which means that I'm gonna be behind in my homework I'll be confused and It will take me a long time to get back to normal.

I'm not quite sure what you're complaining about. I only have one CLOSE friend at my school, and we only have one class together. It happens to be band. There's never anytime to talk before class because the directors make us warm up right after the bell rings. There's no time after class because they keep us playing right up to the bell because apparently they can't read time, and while I have all the time in the world to get to lunch, my friend has to go to a class. There's no time during class because she plays percussion and I play clarinet so we don't sit near each other. So it's really like having no classes with my best friend. There are three classes I have where there are NO people I'm even acquaintences with, three classes with school friends that I talk to at school but never talk to outside of school. I eat lunch with people I hardly know, as has been the case for the past 3 years as none of my friends have ever been in my lunch period. But you know what? It has still be a fantastic year so far, because I am no longer in the hellhole they call junior high, and I am so elated that I never have to back there again that I am probably the happiest person in the world.

Like you said we almost never get a chance to talk.In two of our classes we sit far away from eachother and between classes we don't get to talk either because we have to go to different classes that are really far away and we don't wanna be late. Its alot different than last year.We were in all the same classes at the same times except for math.

7th grade personally sucks. I hate it so much. I go to a brand new school, so the school building itself is awesome. But other wise, I am still getting my usual grades (A-B's) but I have gotten in trouble a lot already for fighting and junk like that so...

This song shows an important message

*Look at me, You may think you see who I really am, but you'll never know me. Every day it's as if I play a part. Now I see if I wear a mask, I can fool the world, but I cannot fool my heart. Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me? When will my reflection show who I am inside? I am now in a world where I have to hide my heart, and what I believe in. But somehow, I will show the world what's inside my heart, and be loved for who I am. Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me? Why is my reflection someone I don't know? Must I pretend that I'm someone else, for all time? When will my reflection show who I am inside? There's a heart that must be free to fly. That burns with a need to know the reason why. Why must we all conceal,
what we think, how we feel?
Must there be a secret me, I'm forced to hide? I won't pretend that I'm someone else, for all time. When will my reflection show who I am inside, when will my reflection show who I am inside?*

12th Grade is going by great. I've only got 32 more days in this semester and then 90 in the next semester and then I'm outta here! The grades are good, and the classes are super easy. I don't know what I'm going to take next semester, but this has been a good year. I have friends in every class, and am so happy I'm doing so well in Senior Lit.

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.
