The first time was in the "The Older Woman" episode where Fred and Grady are in the dress shop and a woman asks Fred what his reaction to a wool dress would be, and Fred honestly says something about a rash around his armpits, etc. Woman: "Iiiiii never." Fred: "I'll bet you did.

Fred's responses to Mrs. Hopkins saying "Well I never!":
1)"I can believe that."
2)"And you probably never will."
3)"Try it you'll like it."

Responses to when it was said by one of Frizi Burr's characters:
1)"Not with anybody in their right mind....."
2)"Well, I have, but not since I left Watts."
3)"Well, maybe if you'd try wearin' a mask."

I respect your obvious knowledge of the show! Very impressive ohio 8....I can remember them all now!!!!! by the way the woman in the dress shop played Aunt Hazel in the first season.....
