Given how central the music of The Who is to the "CSI" franchise, it isn't surprising that Roger Daltrey has booked a guest-starring role on the mothership.
The Who's lead-singer will make an appearance in an unrevealed upcoming episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," but CBS isn't ready to say when Daltrey will appear or what exactly he'll be doing. All the network will reveal is that Daltrey will be "in a surprise role that will keep viewers guessing." Draw your own conclusions. Every episode of "CSI" begins with a Who song. The mothership uses "Who Are You" for its credit theme, while "CSI: Miami" goes with "Won't Get Fooled Again." "CSI: NY" starts with "Baba O'Riley." The Who's latest album, "Endless Wire," hits shelves on Oct. 31. In addition to his music, Daltrey has also carved out a successful acting niche dating back to a Golden Globe nominated turn in "Tommy." He's made appearances on shows including "Witchblade," "That '70s Show" and "Highlander," while he also hosted "Extreme History" for the History Channel. |
