I wish they'd spent more time in the mansion during the movie. I was just as excited to see it in color as I was the family. They only spent about three minutes of the movie at home. However, I didn't like the cheesy colored spotlights throughout (grandpa's lab had green spotlights, upstairs had blue, the dining room was purple, the living room was pink etc.). There should have been more natural lighting.

The different colored lights were probably done specificially for the color movie, because remember the View-master, there weren't those colors in those shots.
No scenes in the kitchen in Munsters Go Home! "Darn, darn, darn." The only color ones I ever seen are in the new book, with Fred Gwynne doing the cereal commercial and a couple I've seen on Ebay with Gwynne working with some ticker tape gadget. In those he's sitting in the same spot, his usual place at the table, so all you see is the kitchen entrance in the background. But, between the new book and the new DVD release of Munster Go Home, some excellent color references for my colorizing work. |

61" Sweet!
I have a 48" and it looks great! If you have them hook up the composite video feeds from the DVD player to the new TV. Color is brighter and also crisper. Have fun! My best, Dirt |

I suppose it just never came up. There's rooms in the house we never visited, as well.
My best, Dirt MunsterKoach.com |
