Can anyone refresh my memory about the California model who was spotted by a witness while driving his ATV out in the desert? He is driving through the desert when he sees the woman, who appears to be drugged or otherwise out of it. Three scummy, slimy hillbilly types come charging out of the brush and start slamming their hands on his ATV, while one with long, stringy hair and a concealed face keeps asking him through the open driver's side window, "Whatcha lookin' at, man? Whatcha lookin' at, man?" And I hope this is on one of crystaldawn's DVD compilations...What a freaky and scary scene! It's seared into my memory!

You're referring to the Kimberly Pandelios murder. See this thread for more info on the recent conviction:

Yes on March 30th of this year David Rademaker was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of Kimberly. The jury spared him from the death penalty.

At least now, Kimberly's family and friends can have some closure.

This case was so frustrating- frustrating that she would drive out to the middle of nowhere on her own to meet a man she only knew by his first name and frustrating that the guy did not go to the cops right away which probably would have saved her life and still nobody seems to know who the other two men are

Yes, this case is on one of Crystaldawn's video collections. I think it's Volume 3, but you'd have to search the forum for confirmation.

"Whatcha lookin' at, man?" is seriously one of the most personally scariest things I've ever heard/seen on UM. Even scarier than that call from "Don" during the Tracy Kirkpatrick segment, which kept me awake for days.
What a weird thing, to just be riding out in the middle of the desert and come across that. Terrible.
