Darlene knew it was no point in being friendly to Molly especially when she only PRETENDED to want to be friends with her so she could get to David-lol Darlene knew that if she and Molly became friends, Molly would have defintely STOLE david from her so she did the right by maintaining her MEAN ATTITUDE toward her

Was shocked that more wasn't made of the fact that David was peeping on Molly. By the way, which actor played Molly?

well no not really molly only ever pretended to like david to piss darlene off,there was nothing actually there.david just loved the attention from molly he never actually liked her that way.....molly was in those eppys to stir things up between them,so darlene and david could realise how much they really loved eachother kinda of.
