The Yankees won. Actually, it's two outs in the top of the ninth. Just wait...they won. I hate the Yankees. They make baseball non enjoyable. Basicially, if you've got money, like George does, you can BUY yourself a championship team. Example: Give me one good Yankee that STARTED his career ON the Yankees. Thought so.
Our crap defense! Oh my god! Two unearned runs! It would still be a tied game. Same with Game Three. That one play...
Sorry, now I'm just rambling. It's just...sad.

I'm as upset as you are Cokies. I'm an A's fan too. I try not to count the chickens before they hatch but, man, they should have had this one.

I could be wrong but hasn't Derek Jeter played all of his career as a Yankee?

Mariners stats are soo much better then the yankees, there like 6-3 vs Yanks, They got better players.... All that equals up to the mariners winning!

My Cardinals are gone too Cokies so I know how you feel. Damn Veres. Still a little bitter over Sunday night.

In the Yankees defense, this is not the same Yankees teams of the past that thought they were so much better then everyone else and lorded it over everyone else. They are hard-working and have one of the finest baseball people ever managing. The Yankees get the edge against the Mariners simply because they've been there before. Season records and stats mean nothing in October.
