Did you guys know the Beverly Hillbillies Switched to color in the fall of 1965.

that's right; and according to Steven Coxes book THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES (an updated version; called THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES-A 40TH ANIVERSSARY WING-DING came out a few years ago) the first color episode was "Admiral Jed Clampett".

When that HORRIBLE BH movie came out, Steven Cox also wrote a book about the TV version and the movie version.

like the first post says; 1965.

THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW & THE LUCY SHOW also switched to color at the same time. THE LUCY SHOW though; was being filmed in color since 1963 but it was still broadcast in black and white until 1965.
