Bands that mean something to me
There are many bands that I have listened to and enjoyed both past and present, but only a few really mean something in some way to me personally. This is my list of MY FAVORITE BANDS:
The Who....my all-time favorite band by a long way...always a WHO cd in my car! The Kinks..most underrated British band of all time The Jam...second most underrated British band of all time Funland...great local Dallas area band of the 90's Ramones...were a fun band to listen to and see live... Doors.....I used to love them in college in the early 90's..listened a lot then The Strokes...remind me of Funland...same style Honorable mention favorites: TSOL, Sex Pistols, Cramps, Minutemen, Dead Kennedys, Flipper, The Clash, Plimsouls, Jim Carroll Band, ACDC, Kiss, Monkees, Beatles, Stones, B-52's, Killers, Brady Bunch Kids!........ There are many more, but curious as to others......What bands really mean something to you? No fair slamming other people's choices either....it's all opinion as to who the best band is.......so don't laugh if somebody's all time favorite is the New Kids on the Block or something! |
