Default Herb

He was also a co-star in MONA MCCLUSKY and
M SQUAD, and made a couple of MUNSTERS appearances.

I know he was in the running for the part of Mr. Drysdale on "The Beverly Hillbillies" but the part went to Raymond Bailey.

That's interesting, since he appeared as Psychatrist, Dr. Twombly in the first season of BH.

Default Rudley usually appeared....

...as "authority figures" in most of his movies and TV appearances [he was an Air Force general in the "MY FAVORITE MARTIAN" pilot, and a crooked senator in one of the last "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" episodes]. Only Desi Arnaz knew he was also a good "straight man" by casting him in "THE MOTHERS-IN-LAW".
