Question Season 1 girls in season 3

Hello All,
This is my first post, I just finished watching both season 1 and season 2 of the FOL. Absolutely loved it, I just wanted to know if anybody knows what episodes in season 3 (if any) do any of the season 1 girls (Cindy, Sue Ann, and Nancy) appear in? I started watching the show at age 7 but by then it was season 7. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about the others, but Julie Piekarski ("Sue Ann Weaver" from the first season) guest starred in the second season episodes "Sex Symbol" and "Gossip," third season episode "Front Page" and the eighth season episode "The Little Chill" (where the girls reminisce at a reunion with other alumni from Eastland).

not just her, the first season girls appeared in a LOT of episodes in season 2, and then again in season 3.... Nancy appeared in Dear Me, Sue Anne and Cindy both appeared in The Front Page... Nancy, Sue Anne, and Cindy all appeared in many 2nd season eisodes like Gossip, Sex Symbol, etc. All 3 girls also appeared in The Little Chill (which would have been a better episode with Mrs. G around!!) but all throughout the seasons, some of hte girls appeared in some episodes and some of the others appeared in other episodes... Molly Ringwald was the only girl to appear in the first episode The New Girl, part 2... she disappeared after that to film 16 candels.

I just watched "Sex Symbol" last night and I was surprised at how Sue Ann, Nancy and Cindy were treating Natalie. It was like they didn't even know her which was surprising since they were all such good friends in season 1.

well it was probably easier for them to just cast the 1st season girls in the roles they needed becuase i think they were promised to be in so many eps that second season since they felt bad about giving a lot of them the axe.... but also, if you are looking at a story line point of view, maybe the girls really didn't know natalie anymore, i mean, they were all suddenly thrown in jail (which i'm surprised they didn't even have some story line thing where the other girls in the school were outraged that they got to stay after what happened, or making fun of them for being dumb and getting thrown in jail) and blair and jo were in the bar (and they were only sophomores in high school... yea people drink then, but not going to a bar to do it, at least i didn't think so) so it's like, maybe the other girls thought she changed so much that it just didn't matter how much they knew eachother before

I noticed that too, there were just like some gossippy girls and didn't care that it was Natalie. This might have been the writters way of moving the first season girls away from the foursome they created with Blair, Jo, Natalie and Tootie.

Still, it just didn't seem consistant to me. They could have used any anonymous girls to make nasty remarks to Natalie and then used the original season 1 girls in another way (like supporting Natalie against the nasty remarks).

Hey Jo Jr,
Thanks for the messege ...Although I have seen many of the season 7 ,8, and 9 episodes, I was not able to catch many of the earlier season episodes. However, now that the show is showing re-runs in Canada and with the season 3 dvd release, hopefully I will be able to get caught up. I am definitely excited to see the later seasons and how the four girls grow up.

My memory of the Season 1 girls are like nil. I don't remember them at all except for Season 1. So when I finally watch the dvd of Season 2, I was surprise of how many episodes they were in!

And I was totally surprise of the Season 8 reunion. I guess the reason is those girls really didn't have the impact as the 4 main girls and Mrs. G. So I didn't remember them at all.

Got my Season 3 dvd pre-ordered at Amazon. Can't wait.

Yeah, I agree. I did not like the fact that the 3 of them were picking on Natalie. That's not like them. They should have been more supportive and used random snobs to do that! OR, at least the dumb writers of that episode could have been a little smarter and maybe have the 3 girls apologize to Natalie later on in the ep., saying that they were only kidding and didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings.
