I got my braces put on today. And they hurt...really bad. I have purple rubber bands, thats the only kinda kool thing. My teeth are really really sore. I can't even eat a peanut better and & Jelly sandwhich without them hurting really bad.

Well, I guess I'll stop complaining...for now lol.

Sorry I can remeber when I got mine I waz in 1st grade and I had them untill the beging of 7th.It's nice getting them off though but you're teeth feel weird.Just take some Tylonal.

OHHHHHH man!!!! I gotta get braces in the middle of October! All my friends tell me they hurrrtttttt insanely! gosh why do my teeth have to be so crooked???

Try Ibuprofin. And believe me the braces will stop hurting and you will have a beautiful set of teeth! It will be worth it!

Yeah, I got my braces in 4th grade and had them through sixth, and they hurt really bad for about the first week, but after a while, I got used to them. And they are eventually worth it. I was seriously gonna have buck teeth, and now everyone compliments me on how nice and perfect my teeth are.

ooh ouch I might need braces for ONE tooth, will they put them on my WHOLE SET OF TEETH?? Hope not. A lot of my friends have braces...Me, the geek with glasses and/or braces. Great lol

My mom always says I need braces. I don't think I will ever get them,though since we haven't the money. Besides, I like the way my teeth look! If a dentist comes near me...

awww! i had braces for 4 years! they hurt a lot when u get them...but the pain goes away after a little while and...well it's not so bad once u get used to it..and when they come off..ur teeth will be so pretty! hehe!

Ohh man..I just got my braces changed recently and they are practically wearing off my bottom lip! But don't worry about it... Just the first couple of days after u get them they really hurt..then you start to get used to them.
