I had asked a similar question a while back regarding this same question. My question was why didn't Jack just tell Mr. Furley he wasn't gay? I believe most posters felt they liked the fact he didn't do that because Mr. Furley believed that it was because of him (Mr. Furley) that Jack became a "ladies man". It would have been somewhat cruel to have told Mr. Furley that he had lied all those years.

I agree he should have just told him....also he should have told Roper in that one episode when they came back and Mrs Roper ended up in bed with Furley.

I agree. And I think it was kind of sweet how he said he became a "ladies man" from being around Furley.

Yea I dont think he would've mind that he wasn't. Remember the episode where there wasn't no pets alowed and he hide the cat himself at his apt. I know its totally diffrent.

I think there would have been a nice little moment when Jack told him. Furley would have gotten all "feel good" cause he would think he made Jack straight, than he'd look at Jack and be like "naaaaw."

Something like this happened with Roper in an early episode. I actually think it might have happened somewhere down the line with Furly too.
