Default Season 8 Best Buy

I see in the Best Buy ad today that they have a "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" offer. Buy Season 8 and you can get a free copy of any one of the Season 1-7 sets instantly!

If anyone needs one of the older seasons let me know, I'll get you one if I can. All I would ask is reimbursement of postage if possible. Send me a PM to state your interest.

I saw that too--what an excellent deal. I am going to get Season 7 with my purchase and give it to my niece. She loves TC and is going through a tough time (her parents getting divorced)-so I think this will make her happy.

I saw that in the ad too--though, I have a feeling that the regular prices for seasons 2 - 7 will be more expensive than season 8, and they're going to make you pay the regular price for the other season and then get season 8 for free.

Nope, that's now how it is. You pay for Season 8, which is on sale for $19.99, and then you get whatever Season you want (or what they have available) from Seasons 1-7 for FREE. I know this because I bought 2 Season 8 DVD packages and then got Seasons 6 & 7 for FREE, even though I already own Seasons 1-7 on DVD.

Enjoy!

Thank you, that's nice to know. I was planning on getting my copy today, but I went to my local Best Buy and they had all the new releases out in front, but I didn't see season 8. I asked an employee and he told me that the shipment for Three's Company season 8 had been delayed and they should have it by later today or tomorrow. Well, I called later today and they still didn't have it. I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow.

That's not bad, but you're still better off with Best Buy's offer. By getting a FREE season in addition to Season 8, it's as if you only paid $10 each for them. If you already have them (like I do), it's still a good deal because you can either give them out as Christmas presents or sell them on Ebay.

Still, you didn't do too shabbily. Congrats!

The same thing happened at my Best Buy but the employee checked their system and they had 26 copies. Sure enough, someone was wheeling a cart out full of Season 8 sets.

I was surprised to see the disc artwork is identical to Season 7. We know there are lots of other pics from "Three's Company". I wonder if they were limited in what they could use.

I hope we see the release of "The Ropers". I e-mailed Anchor Bay to let them know I was interested.

Enjoy your new sets.

So Circuit City is doing this too? They should have advertised it. I ended up ordering Seasons 8 & 7 from BestBuy.com (since the first local bb is still being built)... and then got seasons 2 through 6 on Amazon ($15 each) and the book Come and Knock on Our Door. I was amped for the Three's releases when they were about to come out but fiances were too tight and I recorded all the episodes when TVLand had em on. Anyway seems like this was a good time to get the show. It's just too bad I missed out on some of the better deals like the buy 1 get 1 free on any season of three's when season 7 came out at Circuit City.

Well, I kept calling back yesterday and today and still no luck. When I called back today, the employee told me that apparently I had been given the wrong information. The shipment wasn't delayed, but the warehouse didn't even have any copies yet. Just my luck. I've tried every other place I can think of, but I guess I should try Circut City since nightc1 mentioned they're doing the same deal as Best Buy. I didn't think about Circut City before, thanks for mentioning that, nightc1.

Actually it's BuffyBoy323 you should be thanking. Nightcl just quoted BuffyBoy323's post about Circuit City. Just wanted to clarify...
