Could Nancy be semi-retired?

I was thinking now that Nancy has moved to Texas and is now a mom, I wonder if she will work frequently again. Also that might be why she did the DVD promo for FOL, maybe she doesn't need to worry about trying to prove herself anymore.

I'm sure Nancy will continue to work, but probably wants to spend more time with her little girl right now.

I'm with Dax, or the poster formerly known as Dax.

From recent interviews, I don't get the sense that Nancy thinks of herself as semi-retired at all. I think she loves acting too much to ever do that. She's always been very clear about this is what she loves to do.

However, with a husband and daughter to focus on she probably does put a bit more thought into what roles she wants to take on as I would also imagine she wants to be there for her daughter as much as possible.

According to Lisa, Nancy is still only in Texas half time instead of all year round.

Though as much as I would love it, I think it's doubtful we will Nancy back as a regular on a tv series anytime soon. I think that is probably too big of a time commitment for her right now, but tv movies or guest appearances on shows are probably fair game.

Let's not foret about most Box Office films, too, since they only take 3 months to film at most. Who knows! Nancy may be doing a film right now as I post this. Look at Wildhearts! I made a thread about her being in Wildhearts I think last year, and at the same time I posted it, there was absolutely no mention of it on IMDB. Lets face it, there's still lots of titles officially on IMDB that sounds good to decent with absolutely no casting in it at all. It's possible that Nancy may be in another movie that none of us even know about as far as the name goes.
