I was watching the interviews that aired in May and I thought it was funny when Nancy was talking about not to get a perm and why didn't someone smack her. I looked at Mindy, and doesn't she have a perm in the interviews?

I think that Nancy was talking about those big 80's perms. If you watch the ninth season both Nancy and Lisa have huge hair. I think they both look amazing, but not everyone likes that look. |

80's hair and fashion is sort of a scary thing. I think it's funny how fixated Nancy is on the hair. She brought it up in every interview. Lisa finally jokingly said "Not the hair again..." when Nancy brought it up for the millionth time on the CNN interview that was just the two of them.
Lisa seems sort of fixated on the weight gain and Nancy obsesses about the hair.

I always liked Lisa's hair, particularly her more straight style of season one. However, what she was thinking when she had this 1988 publicity photo taken, I'll never know. Truth be told, I would not know this was Lisa, were it not labeled as such. This is an example of '80s hair gone too far!

I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY THAT NANCY KEPT MENTIONING HER HAIR AND THE 80'S NOT DYING. WHEN I HAD WATCHED THE ORIG AIRING OF FACTS, I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF JO AND THE SAME HAIR, YEAR AFTER YEAR. NO, NOT ANYTHING POOFY, BUT THAT PONYTAIL.
HOW MANY YEARS DID SHE WEAR THAT THING? I SWEAR IT WAS 4 OR 5. I'M SURE THAT WAS PART OF HER IDENTITY AS A TOMBOY, AND WHENEVER SHE GOT DRESSED UP, AND HER HAIR WAS WORN DOWN, IT WAS A BIG DEAL. I RECALL WHEN SHE STARTED TO WEAR HER HAIR DOWN FOR GOOD....AND THEN WHEN SHE'D SWEAR....HELL-O. COURSE, THE SWEARING THING WOULDN'T BE SHOCKING TO ME FOR JO'S YOUNGER CHARACTER, BUT WHEN ANY OF THEM DID, I REMEMBER THINKING THAT SEEMED OUT OF PLACE, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE OLDER. SAD, BUT TRUE, YOURS TRULY HAS ABOUT THE SAME HAIRSTYLE AS I DID FROM THE 80'S. MY FRIENDS CALL MY SIDES MY "WINGS" ALTHOUGH THESE DAYS, MY HAIR IS MOSTLY WORN IN A PONYTAIL. JO jr INDEED..HMMMYES, TO ME, THE 80'S WILL NEVER DIE, AND NEITHER WILL MY WINGS, OR FACTS ![]() ![]()

The big 80s hairstyles on the girls were great. One style I HATED were the mullets. Ugh. I get scared when I watch those episodes.
