Default "Florence Meets Mr. Right"...episode

The gentleman who played Buzz was a very well known tv anchor here in Southern California; mainly in the L.A. and Ventura County where I live. Larry McCormick died two years ago and it was a very sad and shocking to those of us who watched him on KTLA. The news had a special memorial of his work and life on television. They even talked abt how he appeared on television, almost always playing a news anchor / reporter.

Seeing this episode yesterday was one of the few times he played a character that wasn't a reporter or anchor. He played it very well. So well, that I couldn't stand him.

What I don't get is how Buzz and Florence didn't have a deep conversation abt what is expected of each other before they were ready to jump the gun and get married? Give the fact they didn't talk abt certain matters before, I sure as heck wouldn't want to discuss my future with my fiancee in front of everyone...how embarrassing that is.

But I guess the only way she was going to have a LOve Life was if she moved out of the Jeffersons APT and was on her own show. I'm wondering if that show-"Checking In" focused on her home life at all or just her life at the job. It was no way she could have a love life living with the Jeffersons

I remember a little about Checking In, I honestly think it focused on her job vs her personal life.
