What kind of Restarunt was that?-lol Jack said Mr. Angelino Restarunt was closed for Vacation. I guess Mr. Angelino wasn't that big on making money. 1983 must was a good year for the Angelino Restarunt to close vacation-lol

I think it was because he was having the place renovated. I think you're right about 1983 being a good year for the restaurant since he could afford to do that.

Never thought of that. I know this is an off-topic comment but from the sounds of it, Mr. Angelino was a cheap ass!!!

Where I live, it's not unusual for a restaurant to close for vacation. Besides, the owners need a vacation once in a while.

I would think the Owner would be able to get someone to look over the business while he is away. All that time he is vacationing that's money that could have been made-lol

Yea no restaurant around here is closed for vacation. Some have certain days they're closed usually Monday but the only Holiday they're closed for is usually Christmas.

I don't know about restaurants, but last year the company I work for shut down over the Xmas-New Years holiday week and we were all 'on vacation' for that period. It must depend on the type of business.

Yeah, that's a good point, it's not like it's a fire or police department or hospital. They CAN'T close for vacation.
