Question Do you try products that people recommend?

I do. If someone strongly recommends a movie, I'll rent it. If I know it's something I'll hate (like subtitles, insane violence, etc.), I won't.

If someone raves about a product, especially food, I'll pick it up at the store.

Some people, it goes in one ear and out the other. If I know that a person never takes me up on a movie recommendation, I stop recommending them.

I guess it all depends on who is doing the recommending and what exactly it is they are recommending. Like if someone recommends that I see a certain move and I know that this person has good taste (not to mention similar taste as my own) then I would watch the movie that he or she recommends.

A guy on a message board I post at recommended Led Zeppelin to me, so I listened to some of their songs. I'd always heard they were a great, talented group anyway. I really liked Stairway to Heaven.

In exchange, he listened to some Bee Gees songs, so I think he no longer has the opinion that they're "just" a disco group.

I really don't. I have disliked most movies people told me I had to see. I'm into organic and chemical free products, so I don't buy alot of products someone recommended to me. I'm so picky!

I'm always open to suggestions when it comes to cleaning products, etc. Recently, a friend recommended a frozen casserole type dish by Stouffers. White meat chicken with fettucine noodles and vegetables. Put it in the oven for an hour. It was delicious.

It depends on who's giving it and what it is. However, most of the time, yes, I do.

I think that both you and him were introduced to some great music.

It varies on the product or the person recomending it. Most of the times I do, eventually.

I often do, and am seldom disappointed. If I don't like the product, well at least I tried it.

Only if it's a product that I can use or have some kind of effect to my life. If it's a product I don't really need, then no.

If it's someone whose taste I like, and who has similar interests as me, I usually do try out the product. However (as Mona mentioned), it's usually if it's something I really need or really want to try.

Definitely. I'd always heard that Led Zeppelin were a great band; I'd just never got the chance to hear any of their music before. But I'm glad I did.

I've loved Led Zeppelin since 8th grade. Wayyyyyyy back in 1989-1990.
