Post What are you?

Where did everyones family come from? Mine came from:

Father: Poland and Italy (Sicily)
Mother: Germany (Prussia)*

My family on my mother's father's side moved from Prussia during or after World War I.My grandfather was born in Cloppenburg and so was my mother. Cloppenburg is in north-western Germany, near Hamburg and the North Sea. So I'm:

50% German
25% Polish
25% Italian

Polish people are harder to do geanology on, because back then Poland was slipt between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Russia.

Prussia is now split between Germany, Poland, and Russia, but my family moved away when it was all German.

All my family on my fathers side are Scottish. My mother is Scottish too, but her mother was born in Belgium so I have a whole bunch of relatives in Belgium.

Umm... my dad's side of the family came from Germany, as did my mom's mom's family. My mom's dad's parents (my great-grandparents) came over from Czechoslovakia. I know it's not a country anymore but it was when they came over (during WWI, I believe, but I may be mistaken), and I don't know whether they were from the Czech Republic part or the Slovakia part.

American. 100% through and through. My ancestors were a mixture of German, Norwegian, and Irish. But I don't consider myself anything except an American.

Thumbs up

My father is nearly all Scottish, with a little bit of English and Irish. But my last name originated in Scotland. My mother is also of Scottish-English decent, with more Irish than my father. And there's a hint of Portugeuse, but it doesn't show up in me.

But I always say i'm a good ole' Scot. Proud of it too. Mossopp with be glad to hear that.

Umm... for me it's hard to tell cuz both my parents are mixed but anyways:

Dad's side: my gradfather is East African Indian. Born in America.
Grandmother: German, Polish, Native American, Indian and Dutch. No clue to where she was born.

Mom's side: Grandmother: Native American. Born in America
Grandfather:German. Born in Germany.

So, i'm mostly German Indian and Black, but I identify myself as black, even tho' i don't look like a normal black person.

My family is confusing. In simple terms:

Mother:Mexican/Native Amarican

Father:French

You don't want me to post the complex terms.
