Default Solomon, what do you think of Bonnie Franklin's acting?

Solomon, do you think BF's acting is as bad they say on the jumptheshark.com? Do you think she is good or just okay?? I guess you have seen enough by now to decide whether she gets on your nerves or not.

I mentioned to my mother I was recording the ODAAT episodes, and she wondered why did I want that show for. She thought it was a poorly acted show, and she thought Bonnie was the worst and irritating. My sister hated BF too.

The first two seasons her acting was not too good. But as the seasons went by she grew more confident, having more of a voice in the content of the show and she became more attractive (especially in season 4 when she cut her hair a la Dorothy Hamil style) her acting got better. The rhythm of the show the first two seasons, especially the first, was not good and the cast was finding their way through the show. I only wish Mack could had stuck it out through the series because the first time she was fired from the show the element was missing and you can feel it especially when she was first written out of the show. The show was not quite the same from that point on because Mackenzie's drug ordeal impacted the cast as well as the audience.

Wow. I always thought that she was very good at what she did. This isn't the first time that I am hearing this though.

I always really did enjoy Bonnie Franklin's performance, but most people who remember the show seem to hate it and tend to say she overacted and overprojected everything.

I always thought that she was full of life. She was not dull. I liked her.

I think she was more peppy than her two daughters. Julie was a monster, but she is my favorite character.

She looked like she'd had way too much caffeine.
