Her new Ioffer ID is HeartoftheSea

So far only a couple of negatives but this is the third account of hers that I have reported to Ioffer. Seems they like to wait until several users have been ripped off.

M.O. seems to be get uo to 20 feedback then start listing stuff she does not have and ripping people off

Oh No

ive been contacted by a buyer of hers off that account
he says he got the set with some bad discs
on crap brand princo discs

she will not reply to his emails about replacing the bad ones
and he has filed a pay pal complaint over it

she starts off with good comments and then when she gets going, she messes up and gets behind and gets kicked off
over and over again

if it was a newbie, u could say they didnt know
but since this is like here zillionth time.....

I bought a few sets from her a few months back (while she was under a her STASIA13@comcast.net or PATASTV alias). After 2 months of "lie emails" (sorry, post office has been having problems, I'll resend) I decided to file a complaint with Paypal. After yet ANOTHER month of investigating they ended up "ruling in my favor" but stated they still couldn't do anything about refunding my money, because her account had no funds.
I only recently found out that she was Sue Maples.

She now states on her auctions only Bidpay or Money Orders that way no one can get their $ back. You would think that with all the rip offs and thefts that at sometime or another the local police have been told about her.

Trading is one thing but defrauding people on auctions should be prosecuted. Hopefully Karma will catch up to her.

Did you pay by Paypal funded by a credit card or checking account? If it was by credit card, you can contact your bank or credit card company and they can do a chargeback for the money lost. Since Paypal decided in your favor, you have proof that you were ripped off, and should be able to get your money back easily.

For every buyer you think you are saving by telling them to do a credit card chargeback, there is a legitimate seller somewhere out there who is getting screwed by that advice and the flawed paypal system
I can tell you there are just as many "dishonest" people on the buyer side who are looking to get something for nothing.

A good seller, who followed all the right procedure (including delivery confirmation) is at the mercy of the credit card company because PAYPAL will not fight on their behalf like they claim they do.

I've discovered that the ONLY way to protect myself when making online purchases is to do it through Paypal funded by a credit card. Yes, there are buyers who exploit the system, but there are just as many sellers who do so as well. That being said, yes Paypal is flawed, but once again, for both the sellers and the buyers. I've been screwed as a buyer by it before, and yes, I have heard of sellers being screwed by it as well, though as not frequently. That being said, I'm standing by my advice to masterblooregard.

And this is why a smart merchant will have to think 2 steps ahead in order to "protect himself"

Learn to use the system to your advantage and don't become it's next victim.

I would not believe that the J would be that foolish. He has gotten out of Arkham before and certainly will again.

I would guess copycat or hired gun but you never know he could have just got tired of awaiting Parole. I would hate to see a life sentance applied for further violations.

I guess the cake with nail file I sent did not work

No unfortunately payment was made through checking account. I wasn't aware there was a difference safety wise from paying with credit cards, checking accounts, or instant balance transfers. So having paid with the checking account, am I pretty much screwed?

I would call the internet crime unit in her area and report it worst case senario you get nothin but you did buy from her, you have auction reciept and paypal reciept and address info. Bottom linew it is theft/fruad and she has been doing it for awhile. Perhaps if they get enough complaints they will investigate her.

I know a guy personally locally who had both duplicators seized and about 3000 dvds taken when it was reported he was selling bootleg movies. Charges were eventually throw out/dropped but they did not return any of the seized items. One can only hope the same fate awaits this scumbag
