Go get him Breakfast from Dunkin Donuts-LOL I'm amazed when i witnessed him asking a secretary-"can you do me a favor, can you go get me a sauagae and egg sanwich and coffee" Anyone surprised by this?

I'm not surprised by it - in Year 10 of school in Britain, kids have to do two weeks of "work experience", where they're given work placements and work alongside adults and get a feeling of what to expect when the time comes to go out and get a job of their own.

For my work experience, I was a secretarial assistant at an infant school (basically, children aged 5-7.) One of my jobs was to make drinks for the other members of staff.

Not strange at all. I've had to do it for bosses and I've had people do it for me. It's no big deal. Most of the time I would buy that person whatever they wanted for breakfast.

Not surprised. Some bosses treat their staff like slaves.

Though I'd rather go get breakfast or run dumb errands than sit in the office all day! So it could have its advantages.

Boy how right you are. I can't believe all of the staffs that I've seen that were beaten with whips and chains or made to sit in the back of the office or made to drink out of the fountain that is labeled "staff only".

Yea, i've seen it done before. It sucks. Our GM calls his assistant frequently during hte middle of night for stupid stuff, like one time she said he called her at 4:00am in the morning and reminded her to "pick up coffee on her way in". She rants to us about it.
