Default Office Couch

Isn't it funny in retrospect how neither the insecure Laura or loopy Pickles ever considered the possibility of one of their husbands making out with Sally on that couch? This in spite of the often long hours they'd spend working together with only the occasional interruptions by Mel! Ah, the innocence of early 60's television!

Well as stated in a couple of eps, Sally is a girl comes to mind, They both thought of her as one of the boys and didnt really worry about it.

That and Buddy was always asleep on it lol. After all, that's how he always got all of his best ideas.

Ah, but everyone knows wives often think of situations that would never occur to husbands- at least on sitcoms!

That's true, PracTz.
Rob thought Buddy and Sally were fooling around, and Buddy thought Rob and Sally were fooling around, but neither Pickles nor Laura thought Rob nor Buddy were fooling around with Sally (and we all know how jealous Laura can be)!
Actually, PracTz, that might have made for a pretty funny episode - or two!

Rob and Laura didn't even sleep in the same bed. However, the thought occurs to me that there are a couple of scenes in a couple of episodes where they are "necking" on the living room couch. Hmmmmmm........maybe Ritchie was conceived on the living room couch! Maybe the couch is where the action is!!!

This brings up another interesting question though. If they have separate beds at home, why do all of the hotels that they visit in some episodes have one single queen sized bed in them instead of the separate ones? Are they only allowed to sleep together when they're away from home???

LOL!!!
Lolac, you're nuts!
Wait a minute! This could explain why Laura was in such a hurry for Mr Giotto to finish painting the livingroom!

True, Carrie.
Today, it's the opposite. Master bedroom suites have one bed, and hotel rooms have two!
