Default Poll Question, Once it gets Dark Outside, do you watch TV with the Lamp On or do you

just watch TV with the Lamp off? My cousin told me she watches TV with just the TV Light on at 6pm in the evening-lol I was like-"WHY??? I don't turn my lamp Off until I'm ready to go to Bed. Why would I want to watch TV in a room with no other Light on it 7pm so I can fall asleep?

Lamp on.

My eyes hurt (get strained) and/or I get a headache when I don't have any lighting on in the room where I am watching TV.

I have terrible eyes (20 900) and I need the light on until I am under my covers. I turn it off about 20 minutes before I go to sleep.

Especially if the Eagles are winning in a blowout.

The only time I have the light off is if I'm watching a scary movie or something.

It depends on if I'm doing something, But if I'm not doing anything I turn the lights off. I have to pay an electric bill and I try to keep it down as much as I can.

Also I'm watch TV not reading a book, no need for the lights to be on.

I keep a light on... I have a lamp that takes a three-way bulb in my room and I use a 50-100-150w bulb for it. If I watch TV, it stays at the lowest setting, 50w. No need for it to be on so high. That way, the room is dim but not completely dark, and so there's some light for me to see. The only time the light is off is if I'm under the covers.

I shut the lights off when we watch movies, but otherwise, the lights stay on. Can't answer your poll question Solomon because my answer is 'Both'.

No. I don't have any lights on. I like it that way.

If I am reading or writing something, the lamp is on.
