Default A Question that was never ever answered on this show for 10 years

How in the Hell was Al able to maintain a Car, and a House if his paycheck was so small with no other money coming in the house?-lol Peg wasn't bringing in any money so that's why I never understood the jokes about Al's small paycheck by his wife and kids because if it was really that small how could AL continue to put gas in the Dodge, pay bills, and the Mortage??????-LOL

No TV show is realistic, don't you think I know that? The question was just for fun speculation.

A paycheck could still be small and you could get by living on it. It just means that there wasn't money for the extras that they might want.

For a lower-middle class family, they were able to afford a lot of nice clothes, weren't they?

I think it was more of him having what she needed to get some kind of satisfaction over how much sex appeal he had-lol
